This is the first set of pictures from the father-son dynamo, Tabong & Charles Buenconsejo. Gorgeous! I mean the pictures, not me. ;-)

My favorite photographers all my years as a wedding planner, it would've been unthinkable if they weren't part of our wedding day. Even with only a 7-day notice and an incredibly full workload, they were more than happy to jump in on the craziness and make history. Charles, in fact, promised me long ago that, regardless of wherever he was in the world or whatever it was he was doing, he would drop it and come home for our wedding. I know it must've been really difficult for him to leave all those half-naked Preview models but hey. Teody and I appreciate the sacrifice. ;-)

Aren't we lucky they love us so?

Truly, the wedding was made possible because of all the love and prayers and unconditional help from everyone involved. We couldn't imagine what it would have been like if the people (guests and suppliers alike) we loved weren't around.

We're kind of floored by just how many beautiful shots there are - from my pink shoes to the flowers to the candid "people" shots that are jam-packed with emotion - and I don't want to rush the posting so consider this a teaser for all that's to come.

Will post the rest separately. Will also post our many favorites from Jan Ralph (he was kind enough to give us a CD of all the great pictures he took that day - the least we could do was take him out to pizza!). :-)

Thanks, Cels!! Gosh! I almost gave my designer a heart attack! I gave him 7 days to make it! And on the 4th day, I had the nerve to ask him to make me another one (for reception). But as you can see, he worked miracles. I don't know how he did it. It turned out so beautifully. :-)

Hey Chan!! I'll introduce you to him one of these days. Let me know if you want something made. He can whip up something fierce for you!! And he won't charge an arm and a leg, which is just so great. Easy to talk to, reasonable, crazy-talented - what more can a girl ask for, right? :-)

I'll show you the inspiration peg and the pictures of the actual bouquet. The similarity is unbelievable! And I didn't even leave a picture with Tita Pinky (florist). I'm telling you, there were many miracles that day. :-)

would have loved to see this in series - serious shot then you & teody cracking up in the next frame and ten totally losing it on the last.. ok, ok.. maybe that's way overboard for the last one hehe

I get all giddy thinking about it... :)) although what you just managed to pull off magically in 7 days might make clients think you can perform miracles for them too, i honestly believe that you can.:)

RESOUNDING YES. Mind-blowing talent. Tabong trained Charles and look where he is now. Dave's (younger brother) is starting out as well and has already won national championships like Charles. :-)

Hey Bel! You should've seen her with long curly hair. She's so cute, you'd have to do a double-take!

Yep, she becomes a diva in the very few occasions when she throws a tantrum. Very few and far between though. I'm concerned she might get bullied in school so I'm hoping the diva gene kicks in soon! :-)

Sam, as Jan put it - it was a big, big dose of grace from Up Above and loads of help from everyone around us. And yes, I'm still in a bit of shock that we were able to pull it off but so, so thankful. It was more than what we could ever ask for. :-)
